Fur, Feather, Scales and Craft

This is an hour and a half event with the Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary team at Bower Cottages.

After meeting and learning about the furry, feathery and scaly animals native to Australia the participants will then make their very own bird feeders to take home.

This session is designed to introduce the children to Australian animals before they participate in the Introduction to Flora and Fauna art classes, which includes origami, nature mandalas, biome collage and hand building ceramics for home school students aged 5 – 18yrs old.

This event is aimed at primary school children, however if you have other children outside that age range you are welcome to book them in for this event. It is limited to 30 participants (plus 1 parent per family to assist with the craft activities, but due to covid restrictions additional people/children not participating will not be permitted).
